Seeing as the PL admitted that VAR was wrong in 3 games on just one day earlier this month then I reckon you'd need more than 2 fingers to count them.

Re: League table without VAR from The Express
How many of those VAR decisions were incorrect? You could probably count them on two fingers.

As usual we're on the wrong end of too many bad decisions and are one of the worst affected teams VAR or no VAR.

Re: League table without VAR from The Express
So no difference to the relegation spots. The only clear winner from it was Spurs, who would have been 4 places lower and not qualified for the Europa.

Yet another reason to hate VAR.

"We had just scored a Worldy and then Palace got a penalty after the ball hit Rice's arm from about one yard. I've since seen about three other similar incidents for other teams that didn't result in a penalty"

I think the rues were then changed a day or two after that game, so it wouldn't happen again.

All VAR has done is muddy the waters even more. it's a load of old shit.

BREAKING: Bournemouth to discuss taking legal action against Hawk-Eye.

The goal-line tech firm apologised after their system failed to give a goal for Sheffield United against Aston Villa.

Re: League table without VAR from The Express
A massive turning point for us was the Palace game at home. We had just scored a Worldy and then Palace got a penalty after the ball hit Rice's arm from about one yard. I've since seen about three other similar incidents for other teams that didn't result in a penalty. Palace went on to win from another marginal VAR decision and we went into a downward spiral. Now, that says a lot about the weak mentality of the team and coaching, but nonetheless it had a huge effect on our season.

Would we have been shafted with or without VAR? Probably, but at least the game wouldn't have been killed in the process.

Only speccy trainspotters with greasy hair and a weak lemon drink think that VAR has been good for football.

Re: League table without VAR from The Express
Might also include where VAR should have intervened like:
Tarkowski putting his studs through Bowen :RED
Southampton defender having Antonio in a headlock while Haller is shoved over: 2 PENS
etc etc

Imagine if we'd had the season without VAR and Roberto.

Probably be challenging for the Champions League spots.

SWT of course as some are dense enough to assume I am being serious.

Re: League table without VAR from The Express
So this is just what would have been given by referees without VAR overruling their decisions?

I fucking hate VAR, but to be fair, some of those decisions overturned might have been the correct outcome? I'm not sure that table means anything

It might be more meaningful if they had a table of where VAR fucked up decisions, either by not doing anything when there is a clear and obvious error, or where they overturned the ref incorrectly.

Re: League table without VAR from The Express
I always been 100% completely against VAR right from the off (which I've probably bored many with my opinion of it).

If a rule/change can't be implemented throughout ALL leagues, then I'll never be for it

But it's been a spectacular failure as far as I'm concerned. Everyone (and I mean pretty much everyone) was raving about it being such a success after the World Cup but I was never swayed. I'm glad the majority have now realised it's crap.

It's a load of old shit.

Re: League table without VAR from The Express
So VAR was a complete waste of time then?

So the authorities will cancel it and go back to relying on refs and goal line technology. Fine by me =....but will they though?

Of course not - they're wankers!

Re: League table without VAR from The Express
Man Utd no difference despite breaking the record for most penalties. Shows referees give them everything and VAR won’t overturn anything.

Don’t think this correction includes VAR errors where they wrongly agree with the referee.
Or the ball in Villas net where they just sat and watched the INJUSTICE
